If you've ever explored the secrets of the Ratchet and Clank series AND has visited the Insomniac Museum and listened the the developers then you'll know what I'm talking about. If not, It'll be explained.



I was talking to a friend over the phone while I was getting ready to play a demo of the latest Ratchet and Clank game. About ten seconds later after the game started I began to ramble to him.
Me: Ohmigawd, this is so amazing!
Joe: What is?
Me: This Corn! It's off the wall good! And so interactive!
Joe: What the hell are you talking about, woman?
Me: OMG the explosions! And that Hydra Tank's head just shot off like a rocket and there are sparks
everywhere!
Joe: O_o'
Me: What? I crashed into a pile of boxes and they all didn't explode? It's so singled out so
everything has real-world like physics...
Joe: ...good thing you don't have an XBOX...
Me: *Weapon just leveled up* Now you can actually SEE the upgrade?!? THIS IS SO COOL!!! AND I CAN
CHANGE IT"S COLORS!!! *tested the weapon* OMG THE EFFECTS! THE BOXES!! THE CORN!!!
Joe: IF YOU DON'T SHUT-UP ABOUT CORN!
Me: If only you knew how amazing it is...



In general, Insomniacs physics system has been nicknamed "Corn" and I absolutly love it. It's also responsible for all the effects and flashy explosions in the series. If you're a person who likes to make things go boom, you'll understand why I feel this way.
